Dr Peipei Liu is an Association Professor at National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC). He is the deputy director of BSL-3 Laboratory of National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention, China CDC. He is secretary of The 3rd National Expert Committee on Biosafety Review of Human Infectious Pathogenic Microorganisms Laboratory. He is the association secretary of The Biosafety Branch, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. He was the member of Molecular Diagnostics Branch, China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Healthcare (2017-2020). He was the member of Health Inspection and Quarantine Technical Committee (2016-2019). His research focuses on etiology and immunology of emerging and re-emerging viruses and biosafety. Thus far, he has received several research grants nationally.
